Gaining Valuable Experience

“Experience” is the word that best captures the essence of our participation in the 2nd Kaissa Summer Classic Chess Tournament. Held from July 5 to 7 at the House of Arts & Letters, this event was open to all players, but it was the youngsters who truly made waves with their performances. Among them, some of the most impressive were just 7 years old! This tournament was not just about competition; it was a celebration of learning and growth. The young participants gained invaluable experience, enhancing their skills and passion for chess.

The event was welcomed and supported by the Larnaca Municipality and was part of the FIDE 100th Anniversary celebrations.

The organization of the 2nd Kaissa Summer Classic Chess Tournament was impeccable, and we cannot praise the Kaissa Chess Club enough for their dedication and hard work. The venue, the House of Arts & Letters, provided a perfect setting with its beautiful architecture and comfortable amenities. Both the inside and outside of the venue were stunning, contributing to the overall pleasant experience.

The hospitality shown by the organizers was truly remarkable. The drinks and food, which were handmade and amazingly delicious, added a special touch to the event. The attention to detail in every aspect of the tournament ensured that all participants felt welcome and valued.
